Required Skills and Job Responsibilities
As a BHC Insurance Sales Producer, you will prospect for business based on your local networks, connections, and communities. You will be responsible for soliciting new accounts, generating leads for the agency, and presenting insurance solutions to the clientele. This is primarily an outside sales position with flexibility on how you pursue new business opportunities and creating your own schedule. The position is commission based but generous base pay is provided, commensurate with experience, and six figure income is realistic within three years, with unlimited potential beyond that. This role is vital to our success in all our insurance product lines – from personal, commercial, employee benefits, and other coverages. As a BHC Producer, you will be supported by BHC’s staff and value-added resources with the opportunity to create your own success. You will be the cornerstone of our superior customer service and will be charged with ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with excellent communication skills and drive to achieve high quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing strategies to identify and build the agency with new clientele.
- Establish and develop customer relationships and follow up with customers.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
- Become familiar with products, services, and systems.
- Contribute to agency success through promoting new business, cross- selling, and new initiatives.
- Retaining clients by maintaining solid business to business relationships.
Requirements:
- Property & Casualty License Required. (Willing to obtain)
- Strong verbal/ written communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well with teammates to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Confident self- starter who works well independently
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to multi- task
- Strong organizational skills
- Client focused.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of previous business-to-business sales experience
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Specific industry experience a plus
- Required to obtain the appropriate state licensing.
- Preference given to those with existing insurance licensure and/or industry designations.
